Any new student of Pilates interested in taking group mat or apparatus classes at PowerFlow must first complete a series of private sessions. It is essential that each student have an understanding of their own correct form before they enter class in order to experence the maximum benefits that Pilates has to offer.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
INTRO to PowerFlowMAT™ - Our level I Pilates Mat class. Introduces the fundamentals and principles of the Pilates Method and the basic Pilates Mat exercises. Special attention is paid to each student to insure the understanding of the Pilates Method in your specific body. Perfect for beginners, students looking for a slower pace, or those looking to “brush up on the basics”! Students must be injury free. Prerequisite: at least 1-3 private sessions.
PowerFlowMAT™ - A mixed level Classical Pilates mat class focusing on strength, precision and flow. Students must have a strong understanding of beginner through intermediate exercises and be injury free. Prerequisite: at least 3-5 private sessions.
PowerFlowMAT™ on the BALL - Experience all of the classic Pilates mat exercises incorporating the Resist a BALL! Stretch, Strength and increase your balance and coordination. An incredible core workout! Prerequisite: Advanced beginner/ intermediate level Pilates experience.
PowerFlowMAT™DANCE (formerly NIA) - A mind body cardio class! Experience the joy of movement in this mind body cardio dance class! Practiced barefoot, you will integrate your whole body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Using elements of modern, African and jazz dance, martial arts, the healing arts and breath, the movements are adapted for all fitness levels. All levels welcome.
PowerFlowMAT™ Center - A mind body stretch class combining Active Isolated Stretch techniques, foam roller myofascial release, small ball body rolling, sports specific stretches, yoga, breathwork and meditation. All levels welcome.
GYROKINESIS® - Is the core of the Juliu Horvath Method. Requiring only a stool and a mat, the movements are gentle and rhythmic combined with specific breathing patterns and awakening of the senses. The entire body is invigorated, tension is released while spiraling, strengthening and stretching with power and fluidity. All levels welcome.
REFORMER class - A choreographed full body workout on The Universal Reformer. Lengthen and strengthen with power, precision and flow. Prerequisite: at least 3-5 private sessions.
WUNDA CHAIR class - Intermediate Pilates mat work combined with the spring resistance of the Wunda Chair. Take your core strength to a new level! Prerequisite: at least 3-5 private session.
Springboard/TOWER class - This class is a fusion of intermediate level Pilates mat work and a series of spring resistance exercises offered on the Tower and the Cadillac. Prereqisite: at least 3-5 private sessions.
